Kibbled Carob
Kibbled Carob is the pulp of the carob pod / husk after it has been separated from the seeds and ground to small pieces. It may be used to produce carob powder, flour, syrups, or extracts. This product is a popular substitute for cocoa and can be used as a sweetener. Kibbled Carob Medium may be used in functional foods applications for the human food industry. The carob bean, typically produced on female and hermaphrodite trees older than 6 years, is valued for a range of products derived from the seed and the pod.
