Squalene Liquid

Squalene liquid is a natural tri-terpene hydrocarbon. It is a precursor in the synthesis of steroid hormones and vitamin D in the body. Squalene is isolated from shark liver oil and from plant sources such as amaranth seed, rice bran, wheat germ and olives.

Apart from food applications, squalene liquid is also used in the manufacture of some cosmetics and as an immunologic adjuvant in vaccines.

Squalene liquid from MASI Trading is manufactured from shark liver oil (derived from non-endangered species of sharks only). It is available as a straw-coloured, translucent liquid in 20L containers. Minimum order is 100L.
